Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 10, 2026

Tallyra ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile expense tracker published by Pixel Technology LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Tallyra mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Tallyra is designed to be local-first and does not require account creation.

Information you enter in the app may include:

This financial data is stored locally on your device. Tallyra does not operate a user account system and does not upload your transaction history to a Pixel Technology LLC server.

2. Information Stored On Your Device

Tallyra stores app data on your device using local app storage and a local database. This includes transactions, categories, accounts, budgets, settings, onboarding state, and app lock preferences.

If you delete data inside the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app, locally stored app data may be removed from your device according to your operating system behavior.

3. Purchases And Subscriptions

Tallyra may offer paid features through Google Play and RevenueCat. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. RevenueCat helps us verify purchase status and unlock paid features.

Google Play and RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, subscription status, product identifiers, device or app metadata, and diagnostic information needed to provide and validate purchases.

We do not receive or store your credit card number or full payment credentials.

4. Notifications And Device Features

If you enable reminders or budget alerts, Tallyra may request notification permission. Notifications are used only for app reminders or alerts you enable.

If you enable app lock, authentication is handled by your device using biometric authentication or device passcode where supported. Tallyra does not receive your fingerprint, face data, or device passcode.

5. Analytics, Ads, And Tracking

Tallyra does not show ads.

Tallyra does not send your financial transaction details to third-party analytics services.

Service providers such as Google Play and RevenueCat may collect limited technical and purchase-related information as described in their own privacy policies.

6. App Version Checks And Updates

Tallyra asynchronously requests a small version-policy file to determine whether an app update is available or required. The request does not contain your financial records or app-generated persistent user or device identifiers.

As with ordinary HTTPS requests, normal network metadata such as your IP address and standard HTTP/TLS request information may be processed by our server, reverse proxy, or hosting provider. Our reverse-proxy access logs include IP addresses and are currently configured for daily rotation with 10 rotated log files retained; the exact elapsed retention period can vary with rotation timing and operational conditions.

The version check fails open: if the endpoint is unavailable, normal app use continues. Tallyra updates are delivered only through the official app store.
